About the teacher
Hello and Welcome to 4T!
My name is Mrs. Tucker. I started teaching at Stevenson in 2010 after I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education and endorsements in Language Arts and Social Sciences. I earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on English Second Language in 2014. I've wanted to be a teacher since I was a kid and I feel so lucky to be living out my dream here at Stevenson.
A little more about me…
When I’m not at school I absolutely love spending time with my husband, Jake, my son, Evan, and my daughter, Ella. I also love animals. I have two cats and two dogs. My cats are named Benny and Marley and my dogs are named Rocko and Carrie.
My favorite hobby…
One of my favorite things to do is read. I especially love reading fantasy novels. If you ask my previous students they will tell you that I am obsessed with the Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, and the Chronicles of Narnia series. I am always looking for new books to read and would love any suggestions you have.
